Right now, there are numerous proposals in Congress to erode our environmental rules and open our National Forests and other public lands to more aggressive drilling, mining, and logging. One such bill, the so-called “Resilient Federal Forests Act,” would create massive logging loopholes and exempt massive logging projects on public lands from environmental analysis and public review.
Leaders like Rep. Blumenauer have been fighting on the front lines to protect our environmental laws and defend America’s public lands from the industry-friendly politicians that seek to take them away. Join us on May 2 to hear more about the work Rep. Blumenauer, Oregon Wild, and KEEN have been doing to preserve America’s public lands heritage for generations to come.
We’ll have free beer and numerous organizations from the area will have tables set up for you to learn more (doors open at 6pm).
