Celebrate Fall with Central Oregon Events

It’s time to celebrate the turning of the leaves, the crisp air, and even cheer on the first snowflakes of the year! We have a variety of events over the next month that are fun, educational, and inspiring and we hope you can get outside (and inside) with us to learn more about the wild places and wildlife that we experience regularly here in Bend. Enjoy the fleeting time we call autumn with some Oregon Wild events. Hopefully this makes those shorter days feel worthwhile!

Are wildlife populations at a tipping point? What are the threats to wildlife in central Oregon that decrease sufficient, usable wildlife habitat? How can recreation users and growing communities coexist with wildlife and how can individuals help wildlife survive by initiating simple projects?  Join Oregon Wild, The Great Old Broads for Wilderness, Central Oregon LandWatch and Protect Animal Migration on November 18th in Bend to learn more.

At the conference, a panel of speakers will address many factors challenging wildlife. They will share scientific information, the focus of their respective organizations, and the ways individuals can and have helped wildlife co-exist in our rapidly developing area.
